The iroha Lucky Bag is based on a Japanese New Year tradition, known as Fukubukuro. Lucky Bags (Fukubukuro in Japanese) are a part of the Japanese New Year experience. Fukubukuro combines two Japanese Kanji, Fuku (good fortune) and Bukuro (bag).
